Our Story
Community Church began in 1957 with a group of 67 people wanting to worship together. Community Church was chartered on March 17, 1957. Their vision was to be a helping element in the community and surrounding area of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Even as the church struggled to get on its feet, a central focal point was mission and reaching out to those in need. That is still the main focus of its members 60 years later.
Worship
The 10:00 AM Sunday Service is a blend of traditional and contemporary music, prayer and scripture that speaks to our lives, individually and together.

Our music is led by our Award-Winning Musical Director Louis Nemec. Our Choir is a key component of our Sunday Service.
You are always invited to sing along if you would like,
and Choir practice is every Thursday at 6:00 PM and Sunday morning at 9:00 AM.
